Ingredients:

  • 16 large sea scallops
  • 8 slices of bacon, cut in half.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced.
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish.

Instructions:

  • Get your oven ready by preheating it to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Wrap each scallop with half a slice of bacon and secure it with a toothpick. Place the bacon-wrapped scallops on the prepared baking sheet.
  • In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  • Brush the butter mixture over the bacon-wrapped scallops, making sure to coat them evenly.
