Ingredients:

  • 1 pound (450 grams) of ground beef (80% lean, 20% fat)
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Tomato slices
  • Onion slices
  • Ketchup and mustard for topping

Preparation:

  • Preheat your grill or stove to medium heat.
  • In a big bowl, softly mix together the ground beef, a pinch of salt, and a sprinkle of pepper. 
  • Divide the mixture into four equal parts and mold them into burger patties.
  • If using a grill, lightly oil the grates. If using a pan on the stove, add a small amount of oil.
  • Place the burger patties on a preheated grill or skillet. 
  • Cook for 4-5 minutes per side, flipping only once, until the burgers are cooked to your liking.
  • While the burgers are cooking, lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in the toaster.
  • Once cooked, remove the burger patties from the heat and let them rest for a minute.
  • Create your burgers by gently laying a patty onto a toasted bun. 
  • Add some fresh lettuce, juicy tomato slices, and thin rings of onion on top.
  • Drizzle ketchup and mustard over the topping.
  • Serve up quick and easy beef burgers in no time, and enjoy simple, classic flavors!
